Business Development Representative, Romania

 

Our Romanian Business Development Representative, Alexa Nicolau, was born in Bucharest, Romania. She grew up in Bucharest, where she initially launched her career in the digital marketing industry. 

She worked as a consultant in digital strategy, business development, and entrepreneurial mindset development. She is considered enthusiastic about branding and product design and has extensive experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and business development.

She is also a certified start-up mentor and volunteer with several national entrepreneurial support programs and international organizations promoting start-ups' internationalization. As the WBAF Angel Investment Fund Romania member, she connects qualified investors and entrepreneurs to the Fund's deal flows. 

She has played different roles in her career, from marketing manager to CEO of her own company and consultant for IT companies, among others. Inclusion, gender equality, and sustainability are vital components of her work. She is flexible and a change agent with a global mentality, very creative and practical, allowing her to be a problem solver. Her vision is to extend and promote her services globally and build professional relationships in Romania and other European countries with the most effective techniques.
