Our Istanbul liaison Ayça Apak, is a senior communications executive with extensive marketing & PR experience, specializing in corporate communications.

In 2001, she set up Apak Communications a boutique communications and events consultancy with the motto "think global, act local” in London, and worked on a variety of international projects as a consultant in freelance, contract and interim capacities.

Following an extensive period in the financial sector with clients like the FT, Reuters, Thomson Financial, IFR Magazine, Incisive Media, Alfa Bank and Global Investment Holdings, she co-founded a new citizens' NGO which advocates for 'open source' approaches to the global food system and contributed to setting off a technology start-up which incentivizes and encourages employees to adopt environmentally friendly habits in the workplace. Since November 2012, she has also been providing services to leading Turkish companies in an advisory capacity in their pursuit of capital raising and M&A opportunities.

Multilingual and multicultural, Ayça has experience across the breadth of Europe and wider markets working at all levels with governmental bodies, international firms and institutions.
